Provides direct management oversight and support to the Navy Entomology Center of Excellence, the Navy Drug Screening Laboratories and the Naval Dosimetry Center.



  • Functions as the Navy's ultimate technical authority on drug testing matters for the Navy and Marine Corps. Serve as the headquarters level technical authority on forensic drug testing for the Navy and Marine Corps and manages the Navy Drug Testing Programs. Provides oversight of the three forensic drug testing laboratories.
  • Manages the development and improvement of medical entomology products and services provided by NMCPHC and its field activities. Ensures the medical entomology products and services, including tools and techniques for the control of insects, remain safe, scientifically sound and effective.
  • Represents Navy medical entomology for NMCPHC on workgroups, committees and boards within Navy, other services, Armed Forces Pest Management Board, the Deployed War Fighter Protection Research Program, other DOD offices and agencies, other federal and state agencies as well as professional and international organizations.
  • Provide oversight management of the Naval Dosimetry Center that serves as the Navy's ionizing radiation dosimetry center of excellence for radiation protection programs for the Navy and Marine Corps. Support the advancement of the scientific field of thermoluminescent dosimetry through advanced technical research.
